Yes, you will require a referral from a GP or other medical specialist in order to claim a medicare rebate towards your consultation fee.

During an initial consult, Dr Glanfield will discuss your presenting complaint in detail with you. Consults may include a physical examination, and a review of imaging and previous investigations. Further testing may be required to determine the best course of action.

You will be taken through potential treatment options, and given the opportunity discuss any questions you may have in order to determine which is the most suitable for your situation.

Where applicable, you should bring the following:

- Referral

- Medicare Card

- Health Fund Card

- Relevant scans/imaging

- Relevant reports/medical history

Depending on the nature of your condition, it may be possible to be transferred to a private hospital under the care of Dr Glanfield. Please contact us for further information.
